Tim is a versatile and passionate musician, bringing great skill and creativity to his music. He is a highly accomplished guitarist and double bass player as well as being an arranger, composer and music teacher.With a degree and two advanced diplomas in music and related fields, his artistry is underpinned by extensive knowledge and understanding of his craft. Tim has performed at some of Australia's most prestigious venues, including the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Concert Hall, and with equally esteemed ensembles, including the Australian Pops Orchestra.
Tim performs regularly in his own duo, White with Two, alongside partner Margot Leighton (another Jazzopoly artist), with whom he has also released two CDs. He also regularly joins with many other well-known Melbourne artists. This year he was invited to perform at the acclaimed Wangaratta Festival of Jazz in a duo alongside saxophonist/flautist Leo Dale. They created a breathtaking blend of Brazilian sounds, jazz standards and some of their original work.
