Leon is one of Melbourne's top trumpeters, recognised both locally and internationally as a fiercely creative yet stunningly beautiful performer.

Leon studied at the University of Melbourne and the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York, and has been performing professionally for more than two decades.   He has recorded with a long list of jazz and rock ensembles as well as composing and being strongly involved in music education.    In addition to his diabolically busy performing and teaching schedule, Leon conducts workshops for the International Association of Jazz Educators.
