Tony King--The Ace of the Bass

Tony originally studied classical and jazz guitar but later switched to double bass and found his true calling.   He studied Music and Composition at LaTrobe University under Professor Keith Humble and is currently the Music Director at Scoresby Secondary College. The ultimate jazz cat, Tony is a popular performer who plays regularly in and around Melbourne.  He is a core member of Jazzopoly's Trio de Jazz as well as the swingin' Esstee Big Band.  As if that wasn't enough to keep a mere mortal busy, Tony also plays for musical theatre and cabaret and has his own jazz group, Kinju.
